I love your poetic structure. It flows from the tiresome activities, the business of life, to some warm ending moments.
ReplyDeleteSelf-care is paramount for us teachers, MaryHelen. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love this format... I can't wait to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteIt was really born of exhaustion--thanks! It started as an attempt for two words each line...but this worked just as well, I think.
DeleteLove the format, and how much you were able to convey in so few words......I am trying hard to learn that....but not doing so well....guess I will have to keep practicing....:-)
ReplyDeleteDarlene, it was nice to "break the rules" with incomplete sentences, since it seems that's all I teach for test prep these days. Usually, I am guilty as well of being WAY too verbose. :-)
