It's Wednesday! What's happening in the AME Library?

What's new?  Well, for one thing, Ms Margocs is back after being gone for the first two days of the week!  It was nice to be back in the stacks and working alongside Ms Moss.

We are continuing to display biographies for Women's History Month.  There are so many good books about famous, creative, courageous, smart women in our collection!

Ms Martin, our art teacher, has turned our library into an art gallery of scholars' work for the next month.  The pictures really brighten up our space!

Our Dillo Readers' Advisory Club has been hard at work pulling books from our shelves that haven't been checked out in over TEN YEARS!  The books in this stack are the ones they think deserve to stay in our collection--if they get checked out.

Only PreK and Kindergarten classes have read-alouds this week.  PreK is doing a review of shapes:

And Kindergarten is listening to Animal Babies with Their Families.

First through fifth grades are checking out books and reading during their visits this week.

Some important upcoming library dates:

Last week of April:  Armadillo Voting for K-2nd; end-of-year library surveys for 2nd through fifth grades.

First week of May:  ALL SCHOLARS' BOOKS ARE DUE BACK IN THE LIBRARY!  There will be a special event to assure that all scholars will have something to read into the summer.

See you in the stacks, Dillo Readers!
